Welcome to the Summit County Probate Court eMarriage – Online Marriage Application.
** Please Note ** When applicants “Add Previous Marriages”, enter the Most Recent marriage FIRST.
Both applicants MUST appear at the Summit County Probate Court, Marriage License Department, located at 209 South High Street, Akron, Ohio 44308 WITHIN 30 DAYS to finalize and receive a copy of your Marriage License.
Hours are 8:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. Monday through Friday, except holidays.
The following documents are required:
- A certified copy of birth certificate, if one of the parent’s names are not listed.
- A valid driver’s license or State ID, Passport, Visa, or Green Card.
- A certified copy of the most recent divorce/dissolution decree, if applicable.
- A copy of death certificate if a former spouse is deceased.
Both applicants MUST be present.
